Our Year 3 pupils had a fantastic day learning all about the wonderful worm! 🪱
We discovered how important worms are for our environment. These amazing minibeasts help to keep our soil healthy and rich, allowing plants to grow strong and healthy.
This afternoon, the children headed outdoors for an exciting worm hunt to help collect worms for our class wormery. There was lots of excitement as everyone searched carefully through the soil and under leaves to find these hardworking creatures.
Over the next few weeks, we will observe our clever minibeasts closely and learn more about the important job they do beneath the ground. 🌱
