As part of our Shared Education programme, the Year 4 children enjoyed a memorable visit to the Ulster American Folk Park alongside our friends from Omagh County. This enriching experience supported our World Around Us topic, *Home Sweet Home*, by helping us explore what life was like in the past. Together, we stepped back in time to discover how people lived, worked, and travelled, both in Ireland and across the Atlantic. From traditional thatched cottages to pioneer log cabins, the children were fascinated by the contrast between past and present homes. The day was filled with curiosity, learning, and friendship, strengthening our understanding of history while building meaningful connections with our partner school.
