There was some outstanding talent on display yesterday as our boys and girls took part in the Drumragh Integrated College International Peace Day Trophy. All teams delivered strong performances in the group stages, with both the girls and boys Red team narrowly missing out on places in the final. Our Boys’ Blue Team remained unbeaten throughout the group stage, earning a well-deserved spot in the cup final. In a thrilling match against a strong McClintock side, the boys fought brilliantly, with the game finishing level after extra time. Unfortunately, the result was decided on penalties, with McClintock just edging the win. It was a very promising first outing of the year for our Holy Family boys and girls, and one we’ll certainly build on for the future.
