Yesterday we held a beautiful and moving memorial service at the senior site to remember Fr Hasson.
Our KS2 pupils shared heartfelt memories, P4 pupils reverently led the Our Father, and representatives from each year group took part in a candle procession. The service truly captured the spirit of Fr Hasson and reflected the deep impact he had on our school community.
It was a privilege to welcome Fr Hasson’s brother Fearghal and his sister Fiona, with her husband Brian, and other family members to share this special moment with us. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr Peter for leading such a meaningful service, and to Dr Maginness and members of our Board of Governors for joining us too.
We presented Fr Hasson’s family with a framed fingerprint tree picture and a Holy Family Genesis bronze statue. We also planted a tree in his loving memory — a symbol of strength, faith, and the cherished memories that will continue to grow in our hearts. May it stand as a lasting reminder of a life that touched so many.

It was a truly lovely day as we came together to celebrate Fr Hasson’s life and lasting legacy.
