Rita and Rebecca from the Active Learning Company visited yesterday to deliver a fantastic WW2-themed day.
Pupils rotated through a wide range of engaging stations, including handling real artefacts, exploring replica weapons, taking part in an army-crawl competition, playing wartime children’s games, creating shadow puppets and cracking coded messages. Everyone also designed and made their own war medal, and Rebecca put the pupils through a few military drills! 🫡
It was a brilliant day full of hands-on, active learning! 🙌
