Monday was a very special occasion for our school community as Fr. Hasson officially blessed our new Our Lady’s Grotto on the Senior Site. 💜
The tradition of crowning Mary is a long-standing shared tradition in the history of our school. School staff, past and present, special guests, and all our children participated in a service dedicated to Our Lady, led by Fr. Hasson, our school chaplain. Our new school grotto will be a special place of prayer and reflection for our children and everyone in our school community. We pray that Our Lady continues to bless the work of our school now and in future years.
Our sincere thanks go to Dan and Colm Montgomery for their skill and workmanship in building our new grotto; to Catherine McNamee for gifting our school the beautiful statue of Our Lady; to Mrs. McKnight for working tirelessly to coordinate this project as part of our wonderful children’s garden area. We also thank John, our caretaker, for all his work in the preparation and build of the grotto, and all our school staff and Parents’ Committee for their continued support. ✨
We look forward to welcoming parents and guardians to visit our school grotto at our summer evening in June. 🌞🌻
