Lettuce celebrate growth in Reception!!
Our children have been so busy harvesting their own grown lettuce from the polytunnel, peeling the leaves and washing them ready to eat. They tried some during snack time and even took some home to enjoy with their families.
So many gardening skills used here including fine motor skills to pinch and peel the leaves and watching our seeds turn into produce to eat! We love growing and learning together.
