Our Year 1 children explored the life cycle of a butterfly at Forest School this week. We sang a caterpillar song together and foraged for natural materials to represent each stage of the life cycle - egg, caterpillar, cocoon, butterfly. Each groups work was totally unique! Finally, each child made their very own caterpillar 🐛. What a wonderful way to bring our learning in the theme ‘Let’s get growing’ outdoors! 🦋 #classroomwithoutwalls
