Today, October 7th, is the Feast of the Holy Rosary and to mark this special occasion, all the pupils at Holy Family joined in the wonderful worldwide prayer campaign, 'A million children praying the Rosary.'
A million children praying the Rosary is an initiative inspired in part by the wonderful words of St Padre Pio who said,
“When a million children pray the Rosary, then the world will change.”
For the prayers of children have a special power before God – a power that can breach walls, heal wounds and bring light into the darkness.
Our P7 pupils created a life-size set of Rosary beads, identifying the prayers of the Rosary and how to pray this special prayer to Our Lady. We said a decade of the Rosary together with special intentions for peace in the world and for anyone who is sick at this time.
Maybe you could say a decade of the Rosary this evening at home too.🙏
