Today, we took a break from your usual Friday schedule, instead filling our tummies with yummy toast at break-time and letting our creativity loose!
We have been learning about 'The Blitz' in our World Around Us topic so this was the theme for our activities today!
Pupils worked collaboratively to create an online 'Blitz' Coding game using the ipads. Players had to work together to design the background, characters/objects and enter code instructions so that their plane could avoid falling bombs!
The children also looked at various images of the Blitz and created their own silhouette artwork using chalk, pastels and black card. We also made WW2 planes and had a flying competition!
