What an incredible start to the weekend! We are beyond proud of our amazing athletes who represented Holy Family PS Omagh at the Flahavan’s Cross Country Final today in Mallusk!
🥉 Kyra delivered a phenomenal performance, storming to an outstanding 3rd place out of 137 runners and earning her place on the podium! To finish in the top three at such a competitive event is a truly remarkable achievement. Her determination, strength and racing spirit were on full display — an absolutely exceptional run! 🌟🔥
👏 In a hugely competitive boys’ race of 140 runners, James powered home in a superb 16th place, while Sam ran brilliantly to finish 36th — fantastic performances in a field packed with talent! 💪🏽🏅
🌟 As a result of their superb performances and top 20 finishes, Kyra and James have been invited to join the Primary School Cross Country Squad, where they will train alongside the very best runners in their age group across Ulster — an incredible honour and opportunity!
To compete — and succeed — at this level reflects the hard work, commitment and resilience shown by all three runners. Many thanks to their parents for taking them to the competition today.
