This week we’ve been celebrating Good Relations Week, and Thursday was extra special as it marked Shared Education Day! 🌟
Our brilliant P6 pupils, together with our friends from OCPS, have spent the past few weeks pouring their creativity and teamwork into something truly beautiful — a tapestry for St. Columba’s Church “Scarlett Thread Festival.”🪡🧵🖼
On Thursday, the children reunited at St Columba's Church Omagh to attend the festival and see their masterpiece proudly on display alongside so many other stunning creations. The showcase was absolutely breathtaking — a real tribute to imagination, teamwork, and community spirit. 🎨✨
What a wonderful way to celebrate Shared Education Day — by honouring the friendship and collaboration that have connected our two schools for so long. A huge well done to everyone involved in this inspiring achievement! 👏👏
In keeping with the Good Relations Week theme of “Connect”, our Shared Choir also had the honour of performing at the Omagh Churches’ Forum “Harvest of the World” Celebration in Rowan Hall. This uplifting event reminded us that a stronger, brighter community is built on People, Planet, and Prosperity — all beautifully connected by Peace. 🍂🎵🍁🍎🎼🌰🍞
