This week, our Year 3 pupils had an amazing time celebrating Maths Week by exploring 3D shapes in the most fun and hands-on way!
Through play and investigation, the children built, sorted, and compared a range of 3D shapes - discovering faces, edges, and vertices as they went. Using construction materials, everyday objects, and plenty of imagination, they worked together to spot shapes in the world around them and even created their own 3D models!
It was wonderful to see so much excitement and curiosity as the children learned that maths really is all around us - and it can be so much fun!
