The children visited Mulligan’s Home Bakery on Bridge Street to meet Paul the baker and his team to learn some more about his busy job. They learned about dough ingredients, the tools he uses and the tasty treats he bakes. The children rolled out their own dough and decorated some spooky Hallowe’en cupcakes. A lovely learning opportunity for the children. Everyone enjoyed their cupcakes on the way back to school along the riverside walk. I think we might have a few apprentices for Mulligan’s Home bakery in the near future!
