🌳☁️ Forest School – Cool Clouds! ☁️🌳

Today at Forest School the Year 3's became cloud explorers! We learned about three different types of clouds – Cirrus, Cumulus, and Stratus ☁️

We discovered that cirrus clouds are thin and wispy and sit high up in the sky, cumulus clouds are big and fluffy and look a bit like cotton wool, and stratus clouds form a grey blanket that can cover the sky.

Using our cloud finders, we looked carefully up at the sky to see which clouds we could spot drifting above the trees 🔍🌲. The children enjoyed sharing their ideas and describing the shapes they could see.

Next, we tried a parachute game 🪂🌬️. The wind had other plans and made it a little tricky, but it brought lots of fun, laughter, and giggles!

To finish our adventure, we worked in three groups to create our own clouds using natural materials from the forest 🍃🌿. Everyone showed fantastic teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

It was a wonderful session of learning about nature, working together, and enjoying the outdoors. 🌞🌳
